A Tale of Two Cities

It is so hard to believe that I have been in this beautiful country for nearly three weeks! In true adventuring fashion I set my course for London all by myself a week before this program began and frantically raced through every attraction the city had to offer, trying and failing to not look like a tourist… oh well. However, I am quite proud of how quickly I mastered the Tube!

Then with a train ticket and and eager heart I made my way to the quaint city of Oxford. (Aka I hopped on the Hogwarts express to begin my wizarding education because that’s seriously what this school looks like!) I have truly never been more blown away by architecture than I am every single day in Oxford. I mean at least if we are forced to go struggle in the library for hours on end, we are provided with a bit better scenery than can be found in Morgan Library at CSU 😉

So far everything has been more wonderful than I ever could have imagined! There are countless beautiful libraries to lose yourself in, there are cute tea shops, and I have been blessed with the most fantastic group of friends who are just as eager to debate Shakespeare as to help you down far too many vodka cranberries!

In our first few weeks here we have conquered castles and graced playhouses. We’ve been to small villages and huge cities sustained only by caffeine, excitement, and a few too many baguettes, and I can’t wait to see where we go next!
